Our research project aims at comparing FTTH deployments in New Zealand and Europe, by looking into the interaction between technology, policy and the market.

Linking this analysis to measurable performance criteria such as speed of deployment, coverage and uptake, will allow assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of FTTH deployments.

About us

Fernando Beltran is a senior lecturer at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

 

Marlies Van der Wee is a PhD student from Ghent University, Belgium. She is visiting Auckland from October 2013 till February 2014.
